Join Beacon Health System and Help Patients Move Forward Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide hands-on therapy services that help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. If you're passionate about patient care and enjoy working in a collaborative healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist. Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, and overall functional independence. Implement therapeutic exercises and treatment techniques appropriate to each patient's needs. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes. Support the clinical education of students and assist with departmental activities as needed. Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care. Qualifications Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required. Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
