Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients in an outpatient setting. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive the support they need during their rehabilitation journey, contributing to their overall recovery and well-being. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, providing encouragement and guidance. Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the supervising therapist. Maintain accurate records of patient attendance and treatment sessions. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient files. Experience Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred to understand patient needs effectively. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in outpatient or hospital environments, is a plus. Familiarity with geriatrics and orthopedics will enhance the ability to provide specialized care. Strong patient service skills are essential for creating a positive experience for individuals undergoing therapy.
