In this role, you will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, along with a commitment to enhancing patient service and rehabilitation outcomes. Duties As a Physical Therapy Technician, your responsibilities will include: Assisting physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions. Guiding patients through exercises and therapeutic activities while ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Documenting patient progress and reporting any concerns to the supervising therapist. Educating patients on proper techniques for exercises and the importance of adherence to their therapy plans. Supporting administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records. Experience The ideal candidate should have: Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, particularly in areas such as orthopedics or geriatrics. Familiarity with acute care environments is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
