Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Physical Therapy Join a growing physical therapy practice where you can build relationships with your patients, work closely with experienced Physical Therapists, and make a real impact on patient outcomes. FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team. We are looking for someone who is energetic, compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping patients get back to doing the things they love. What You'll Do As a PTA, you'll work directly with our Physical Therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans and an exceptional patient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and treatment programs Assist with orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and mobility-focused rehabilitation Monitor and document patient progress Communicate changes in patient condition or progress to the Physical Therapist Educate patients on exercises and continued care Help motivate patients throughout their recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Work collaboratively with PTs and the rest of the clinic team Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and team-first mentality Passion for helping patients achieve their goals New graduates are encouraged to apply.
