You'd be working under a licensed supervising PT and serving students across the district and the surrounding county buildings, so expect a little windshield time and a caseload with real variety instead of the same four walls every day. What You'd Be Doing Carrying out the plan of care written by your supervising PT, in line with each student's IEP Running direct treatment sessions on gross motor skills, mobility, strength, balance, transfers and positioning Collecting data, tracking progress and reporting back to your supervising PT Helping students use their equipment the right way, including wheelchairs, walkers, standers, gait trainers and orthotics Training teachers and paras on positioning, safe transfers and carryover in the classroom Traveling between assigned buildings across the district and county Working alongside the PT, OT, teachers and related service staff, and attending IEP meetings as needed Keeping documentation and Medicaid billing clean and on time Never Done a Travel Contract Before?
