Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) |
Home Health Company:
Legacy Home Care / Home Health Care, Inc.
Location:
Buffalo, Delano, Waverly, Watertown, Maple Lake, Annandale & Surrounding Communities Schedule:
Full-Time or Part-Time | Monday-Friday Only | Minimum 2 Days / 12
Visits Per Week Compensation:
Competitive Compensation with Strong Full-Time Earning Potential Want to stand out from other applicants? Email Nikky Vogelgesang at nikky.vogelgesang@hhcare.net with your resume and tell us about your PTA experience, where you'd prefer to cover patients, and how many days per week you're looking to work. What If Your Therapy Schedule Had a Little More Breathing Room? Patient at 8:00. Another at 8:30. Another at 9:00. Documentation piling up while the next patient is already waiting. For a lot of PTAs, the frustrating part of therapy isn't treating patients. It's the pace surrounding it. Legacy Home Care and Home Health Care, Inc. are hiring PTAs throughout the western Twin Cities and surrounding communities for a different kind of therapy work. Instead of spending your entire day inside one clinic or facility, you'll take your therapy skills into patients' homes, travel within an assigned territory, and help patients improve mobility and function where they actually live. And when Friday is over? Your patient visits are done for the week. No weekends. Build a Therapy Schedule Around Your Life We're open to Full-Time and Part-Time PTAs , with a minimum commitment of just 2 weekdays / 12 visits per week . Patient visits are Monday through Friday only . No Saturday treatments. No Sunday treatments. No every-other-weekend rotation. Your weekends stay yours. Why PTAs Consider This Opportunity Competitive compensation with strong Full-Time earning potential Full-Time or Part-Time Minimum 2 weekdays / 12 visits per week Monday-Friday patient visits only No weekends Consistent patient volume Territory-based scheduling Mileage reimbursement between visits Cell phone reimbursement every paycheck Free MedBridge Education Hub Licensure and annual scrub reimbursement Experienced PT and clinical support Comprehensive benefits for eligible employees, including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, PTO, sick time, and 401(k) with company match Bring Therapy Into the Patient's Real Life Home health lets you see exactly what your patient needs to accomplish. The stairs they need to climb. The chair they struggle to stand from. The hallway they're afraid to walk down alone. The front steps standing between them and leaving the house. Instead of simulating everyday function, you're helping patients improve it where everyday life actually happens. As a Home Health PTA, you'll: Provide physical therapy treatments in patient homes Implement plans of care established by the supervising PT Provide therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training Perform gait and transfer training Reinforce home exercise programs Teach fall-prevention and safety strategies Educate patients, families, and caregivers Monitor progress and communicate changes to the PT Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation Travel between patients within your assigned territory You Don't Need Home Health Experience to Make the Move If you've worked in Outpatient Therapy, Skilled Nursing, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, Transitional Care, Senior Living, Long-Term Care, Hospital-Based Rehabilitation, Geriatrics, or Home Health , we'd like to talk. Home health experience is preferred, but it isn't required . You'll need a current Minnesota Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license , valid driver's license and reliable transportation, strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a supervising PT. A Territory That Makes Sense We're growing around Buffalo, Delano, Waverly, Watertown, Maple Lake, Annandale, and nearby communities . We're interested in where you live, too. Tell us where you're located and which communities would make sense for you to cover. Maybe You Don't Need a Different Career. Maybe You Need a Different Way to Practice. Still treat patients. Still use your therapy skills. Still watch people get stronger. But do it with Full-Time or Part-Time flexibility, weekday-only visits, no weekends, and a community-based territory. If that sounds closer to what you've been looking for, we'd like to meet you. Want to stand out from other applicants? Email Nikky Vogelgesang at nikky.vogelgesang@hhcare.net with your resume and tell us about your PTA experience, where you'd prefer to cover patients, and how many days per week you're looking to work.
