Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited PTA program, current state licensure (or eligibility), and experience in acute care or a comparable clinical environment preferred. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support the recovery, mobility, and functional independence of patients in a hospital setting.Key responsibilities:
Implementing individualized treatment plans, assisting with patient mobility and exercise programs, documenting progress in the electronic medical record, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and efficient discharge planning. Participate in team meetings, contributes to quality and process improvement initiatives, and supports department goals for excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.Schedule:
Full Time- 40hrs/week. Generally Monday
- Friday, 8 hour shifts. Rolling start anytime from 7:30a
- 9:00am. Weekend rotation
- 1 Saturday per month.
