Job Description
Job description: Park River Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a long-term care setting. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated therapy team focused on helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Position Overview:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The PTA will assist with implementing treatment plans and helping residents achieve their highest level of functional ability.Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional tasks Monitor and document resident progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist Ensure therapy equipment is used safely and properly Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements Help create a positive and supportive rehabilitation environment for residentsQualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the applicable state Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well within a team-oriented environmentPay:
