As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care while creating positive experiences for the patients and families you serve.- Provide high-quality physical therapy services using approved treatment techniques under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Support patients in improving mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life
- Deliver care in accordance with established therapy plans, professional standards, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in required systems
- Collaborate with therapy team members and interdisciplinary staff to support patient care and outcomes
- Provide professional, compassionate service to patients, families, and care partners
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Minnesota (or eligible for licensure)
- Working knowledge of applicable state and federal healthcare regulations
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out therapy assignments independently within scope of practice
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- High level of commitment to compassionate, person-centered customer service
Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, outpatient therapy, or rehabilitation settings
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy settings desired
- Experience working with adult or geriatric patient populations
- Experience providing therapy services under supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist The Perks
