Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will help patients put their PT-established treatment plans into practice through hands-on rehabilitation and clear encouragement. This opening is part of a search for two rehabilitation providers across the clinic's locations, giving you the opportunity to contribute directly to patients' day-to-day progress. The full-time target is 40 patient visits per week, scheduled at one patient per hour, with typically four treatment units per visit. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Responsibilities Deliver treatment within the physical therapist's established plan of care to help patients move toward their functional goals. Guide patients through prescribed exercises and activities with attention to technique, safety, and treatment tolerance. Observe patient responses and communicate progress, concerns, or changes to the supervising physical therapist. Reinforce prescribed home exercises and patient education so patients understand how to continue their care between visits. Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately to support continuity of care. Coordinate relevant patient updates with the physical therapist and broader clinical team to keep care consistent.
Requirements Must-Have:
Appropriate PTA licensure or eligibility to obtain it before starting. Ability to provide safe rehabilitation treatment within a physical therapist's established plan of care. Ability to recognize changes in patient response and communicate concerns promptly to the physical therapist. Clear patient communication and accurate clinical documentation skills. For full-time applicants, availability for a schedule ending at 7:00 PM on Monday and Wednesday and 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. No specialty certifications are required. Nice to

Experience providing care in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Experience collaborating with providers across multiple clinical disciplines. Familiarity with electronic patient documentation systems. Benefits Hourly pay of approximately $28, flexible based on experience.
