In this energetic and rewarding position, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized care plans across diverse settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, home health, and skilled nursing environments. Your expertise in physiotherapy techniques and patient care will contribute directly to positive patient outcomes and enhanced recovery experiences. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Deliver hands-on therapies such as trigger point therapy and other manual techniques to alleviate pain and improve function. Monitor patient progress, document responses to treatments, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist. Support patients through various stages of recovery, including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Educate patients on physiotherapy exercises, proper body mechanics, and discharge planning strategies for continued progress at home or in outpatient settings. Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and clinic environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care plans and facilitate smooth transitions between care settings. Experience Prior experience working in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient rehabilitation units is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices. Hands-on experience with outpatient clinics or home health services enhances your ability to adapt treatment approaches effectively. Familiarity with discharge planning processes ensures seamless patient transitions from hospital to home or other care environments. Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics is advantageous for delivering comprehensive care. Proven ability to implement physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy within a clinical setting.
