Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Aspire Senior Living Roaring River, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal physical function, independence, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed physical therapists in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient treatment plans Conduct physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and other treatments as deemed necessary Provide education and training to patients and family members on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and safety precautions Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Requirements:
Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program from an accredited institution Current Missouri state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and caring approach to patient care
