Job Summary and Qualifications The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) performs individual patient treatment for inpatient and outpatient populations under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT). What you will do in this role: You will assist the PT in the evaluation process as directed or as needed. You will conduct treatments as assigned by the PT and outlined in the treatment plan. You will monitor the patient's response to treatment and make modifications during sessions as indicated in collaboration with the PT. You will supervise Rehab Aides. You will coordinate and communicate with the interdisciplinary team involved in patient care. You will participate in patient, family and staff education.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Minimum education required is a Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Current State professional license and current BLS required. Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. Word processing skills preferred.
