August 4, 2026 Apply by: August 11, 2026 Southwest Community Services has an opening for a Therapeutic Services Worker in the Physical Therapy Department. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours worked between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. receive an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
Responsibilities:
First-level direct care position accountable for administering physical therapy services that are created by and overseen by the Physical Therapist to our individuals. This position reports concerns and progress to the Physical Therapist to assist in the creation and maintenance of effective Physical Therapy services. This position is also responsible for entering notes on the services that are provided to the individuals; entering quarterly physical therapy equipment notes; regularly inspecting the physical therapy equipment that is used in the ISL homes; and providing classroom training to employees related to the physical therapy needs and equipment use of the individuals. This position is supervised by the Residential Services Coordinator. Knowledge, skills & abilities: Knowledge of the general care and treatment of individuals, including basic nursing, first aid, and emergency treatments. Ability to work with individuals with physical or mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the geriatric population. Ability to perform first aid and emergency treatments as instructed. Ability to prepare and maintain records, charts, and reports, electronically. Computer knowledge and skills are necessary to complete the job tasks.
