Alternative Home Health is growing, and we're looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team! HOUR + MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT

Pay is based on employment status and experience.

SIGN-ON BONUS

$750 for Part-Time/PRN $1,500 for Full-Time Paid after 90 days of employment PRN compensation is based on the applicable PRN rate. ⭐

Looking for flexibility? Our PRN PTAs can choose the coverage area they want to work in! When you join Alternative Home Health as a PRN PTA, you can let us know which areas you prefer to cover, and we will work with you based on available patients and agency needs.

• You choose the area. You choose your availability. We provide the patients and support.
• This is a great opportunity for a PTA who wants to work PRN without having to commit to covering a large geographic area.

OUR SERVICE AREAS

We currently serve patients throughout: St. Louis County Franklin County Parts of Jefferson County South County West County PRN PTAs can select their preferred coverage area based on the areas where they would like to work. Patient assignments are based on patient needs, therapist availability, and current agency needs.

PTA RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Home Health PTA, you will: Provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist Provide individualized treatment in patients' homes Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and function Monitor patients during treatment and provide encouragement and instruction Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques Communicate patient progress and concerns to the Physical Therapist and care team Participate in care coordination and case conferences as appropriate Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow the patient's plan of care, physician orders, and agency policies Maintain current licensure and required credentials

REQUIREMENTS

Current Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License - Required Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to travel to patients' homes Home health experience preferred but not required
