Job Description

At Globetrot Health, we put the wants and needs of our clinicians first. This job is a 13 week assignment and is at a skilled nursing facility (memory care) in $1,600 net pay per week. $1,000 Week 1 Sign-On Bonus.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our therapy teams across multiple locations. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and physical function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, flexibility, and providing hands-on patient care in diverse settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities to improve mobility and function. Monitor and document patient responses and progress. Communicate with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team regarding patient status. Educate patients and families on exercises and proper use of equipment. Travel to various assignments and quickly adapt to different clinical environments.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active state PTA license (or eligibility in assigned states). CPR certification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility and willingness to travel and work in a variety of settings.
