Job Summary / Must be a Licensed PTA Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse settings. Duties Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to develop and execute individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and manual mobilizations to enhance patient recovery. Assist in conducting assessments of patient physiology and anatomy to inform treatment strategies. Support inpatient, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing facility patients by delivering targeted physiotherapy interventions. Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal results. Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, discharge planning, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Qualifications Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Demonstrated experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and various physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy. Experience working with diverse populations such as pediatrics, orthopedics, geriatrics, and patients requiring discharge planning or acute care. Familiarity with care plans development for patients in outpatient or clinic settings. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
