Physical Therapy Assistant or PT

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
• Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
• Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
• Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort and safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a physical therapy aide or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with acute care settings and hospital procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow instructions and carry out tasks effectively
