Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students wellbeing as a Physical Therapist Assistant. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in school environments and are passionate about helping students achieve their highest potential. Work two days per week, providing dedicated care and collaborating with a supportive team.
What Youll Bring:
Valid North Carolina PTA license Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, preferably in a K-12 setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student Comfort with travel to schools in the greater Elkin area
Your Role:
Deliver direct PTA services to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate closely with supervising physical therapists, educators, and families to support each students mobility and physical goals Document progress and maintain accurate records as required by school and district standards Participate in team meetings, sharing observations and adjusting interventions as needed Attend scheduled sessions on-site two days per week (16 hours total) from August 17th, 2026 through June 4th, 2027 This contract position offers the satisfaction of improving young lives while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
