Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure a seamless check-in process Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to support accurate patient assessments Prepare examination rooms and assist chiropractors during adjustments and therapeutic procedures Maintain accurate medical documentation, including notes on patient visits, treatment plans, and progress reports using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and patient communications to optimize clinic flow Support administrative tasks such as filing medical records, processing insurance claims, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to health and safety protocols Experience Prior experience in medical office support or healthcare environments is highly desirable Familiarity with EHR systems (Electronic Health Records) management and medical documentation practices Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic pharmacology to accurately assist with patient care Experience with vital signs measurement, intake procedures, ICD coding, and medical records management Previous exposure to outpatient or inpatient settings such as hospital medicine or urgent care is advantageous Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is preferred to ensure readiness for emergency situations Background in medical assisting or related fields like dermatology, internal medicine, or geriatrics will enhance your ability to support diverse patient needs Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps improve lives every day!
