Job Description
Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while advancing your career as a Physical Therapist Assistant on a contract assignment running through 5/27/2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with PreK-12th-grade students in a supportive school environment near Lexington, NC. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week, providing the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and education professionals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active PTA license or eligibility in North Carolina Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is highly desirable Comfort working with PreK-12th-grade students across varying abilities Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow therapistsKey Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of individualized education and therapy plans for a diverse student population Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as needed to optimize outcomes Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student goals, progress, and needs Assist in developing therapeutic strategies to support students' physical access and participation in school activities Perks of thePosition:
