Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Part-Time Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation Make a Difference Through Every Step of Recovery Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our supportive and collaborative rehabilitation team. In this part-time role, you'll help residents improve strength, mobility, independence, and quality of life through personalized, hands-on care. Position Details Part-Time Day Shift Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care What You'll Do Provide hands-on therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to meet each resident's goals Provide individual and group therapy as appropriate Monitor resident progress and communicate changes with the therapy and nursing teams Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Assist with discharge planning and resident/family education Collaborate with residents, families, nursing staff, therapists, and other care team members Participate in care conferences and facility initiatives Promote resident safety, dignity, mobility, and independence What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current North Carolina PTA license Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and therapeutic activities Why Join Mill Creek?
