Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - PRN Join our team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad, where we care for those who once cared for us. As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our team on a Per Diem basis. About the
Role:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents. Your expertise will focus on helping patients regain independence and mobility, improve their overall physical function, and facilitate a smooth transition back to their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation Provide physical therapy interventions, such as exercises, stretching, and modalities, under the supervision of the Physical Therapist Work alongside residents to set goals, track progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Nebraska Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy interventions Why Choose Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad?
