Your Role As a PTA at Weeks & Gowen Physical Therapy, you will assist physical therapists in providing quality, evidence-based, and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions. What you'll do: Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, according to the therapist's treatment plan. Assist patients, as necessary with walking, transferring, and dressing. Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs; Promote patients' healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes. Document patient care services via EMR. Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required. Why Join WGPT? Active Physical Therapist Assistant license. Passion for delivering quality, evidence-based patient care. Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
