Join a contract/travel assignment in Hampton, NH as a Physical Therapy Assistant. This 13-week position starts ASAP with a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Compensation:
Travel:
$1,383/35 hrs;
Local:
$1,362/35 hrs.
Requirements:
Active, valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
Core responsibilities:
Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations by collecting medical history, assessing functional status, and helping establish goals. Implement prescribed treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises and modalities, to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Operate therapeutic equipment safely and document interventions and patient progress accurately. Instruct and coach patients (and families) on home exercise programs, techniques, and self-care strategies to promote recovery. Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and update treatment plans. Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a clean, safe therapy environment. Provide motivational and emotional support to patients during therapy sessions.
