Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 $15.92 - $17.00 an hour - Part-time $15.92 - $17.00 an hour - Part-time We are a small, close knit business group looking for a positive, courteous team player with outstanding work ethic. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to our patients and a positive environment for our staff. We require that a potential employee be reliable, enjoys working with people, and possess a high school diploma (or be in the process of obtaining their high school diploma). Medical experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English). This is a part time/floater position with the potential for more hours.
Office hours of operation are:
Monday:
8:30am-7pm,
Tuesday:
8:30am-7pm,
Wednesday:
8:30am-7pm,
Thursday:
1pm-7pm, &
Friday:
9am-1pm), No Weekends. Potential candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am-7pm with an hour lunch and must be willing to travel between offices (located in Cherry Hill & Sewell).
Job Responsibilities:
Direct patients between waiting room and treatment room Setup and prepare patients for treatment by doctor Update doctor and fellow team on patients Coordinate the overall flow of our healthcare office Filing a wide variety of important healthcare paperwork Scanning a wide variety of important healthcare paperwork Contacting outside healthcare practitioners for radiology and other reports Answering phone and emails Coordinating care with other Doctor's Offices / Legal Representation, Requesting / Providing Reports & Documentation, Following up on requests. Any other responsibilities the office team needs completed, such as emptying the trash, refilling/restocking supplies, etc.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent GED 1+ year of customer service, either in a retail, school, or healthcare setting dealing with a wide variety of personalities Excellent verbal interpersonal skills (the ability to listen and make patients feel comfortable). Someone who is personable. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take the initiative and is willing to learn new things. Someone who isn't afraid to ask questions or for clarification. Someone who is organized and uses lists to keep track of tasks Experience operating a Windows PC in an office setting with basic proficiency Demonstrated ability to follow processes and complete daily tasks, in addition to taking direction.
