Our aquatic programs incorporate specialized equipment and progressive resistance methods designed to challenge patients and clients in ways that traditional pool therapy may not. As a PTA, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in both land and aquatic environments , giving you broader clinical experience and a different perspective on rehabilitation. You will work with patients during 40-minute appointments while learning the standards of care and treatment philosophy that guide our team. Grow Your Skills With Mentorship and Training You do not need years of experience to make an impact here. We are open to an entry-level PTA or new graduate who is motivated to learn, communicates well, and wants to become an important part of a growing practice. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will: Provide skilled treatment under the direction and plan of care established by the Physical Therapist Help patients improve strength, mobility, function, endurance, and confidence Assist with both land-based and aquatic rehabilitation Educate and encourage patients throughout their recovery Progress therapeutic exercise and activities appropriately Help patients understand the purpose behind their treatment Communicate patient progress and concerns with the Physical Therapist Maintain accurate and timely documentation Contribute to a positive, energetic patient experience Learn and apply Aquatic Performance & Therapy's standards of care Aquatic Performance Training's broader mission centers on advancing aquatic rehabilitation, exercise physiology, and performance training through progressive programming and specialized aquatic equipment.
