As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. Duties
  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
  • Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
  • Assist with patient transfers and mobility exercises
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
