Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement individualized treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist. Assist residents in exercises and therapeutic activities aimed at improving their mobility, strength, and coordination. Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist. Provide education to residents and their families on techniques and exercises to support rehabilitation. Ensure safety and comfort during therapy sessions, maintaining a positive and encouraging environment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of care. Qualifications & Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New Jersey. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
