Job Description

High Desert Therapists is seeking a part time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Carson City, NV. Established in the 1990's, we are a therapist owned clinic that specializes in outpatient orthopedics. Our caseloads include post-op rehab of the extremities, spinal injuries, work injuries, and sports rehabilitation of our local athletes. We are looking for someone who is compassionate about our profession, the people we serve, and providing quality treatments centered around excellent manual therapy skills, and evidence based exercises. We operate a high-energy, positive, and uplifting environment as we provide education and encouragement to our patients as we help them achieve their individual goals. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced therapists who thrive on continued learning and development of their clinical and manual therapy skills. In addition to the expected job duties, there will be opportunities to advance your knowledge and education through group studies and in-services as we continue to share and grow together.
Benefits include:
Continuing education of $750 per year License reimbursement Working environment and expectations: 30 minute appointments; Support and help from Physical Therapists and other PTA's as needed; EMR documentation (sufficient computer skills are required); Ability to be kind and compassionate towards a diverse population of patients; and Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other team members
