Join Our Growing In-House Therapy Team! Silver Oak Health & Rehab is urgently hiring a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing in-house rehabilitation team. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable PTA who enjoys helping residents regain strength, mobility, independence, and confidence. Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying candidates. What You'll Do Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct physical therapy services in accordance with each resident's established plan of care.Responsibilities include:
Provide treatment according to plans established by the Physical Therapist. Assist residents with therapeutic exercise, mobility, balance, transfers, gait, and strengthening activities. Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising PT. Help residents achieve functional goals and maximize independence. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities and safety recommendations. Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain treatment areas and therapy equipment in a safe and organized manner. Follow all applicable facility, state, and federal requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Nevada PTA license in good standing or ability to obtain Nevada licensure. Strong communication, time-management, and documentation skills. Compassionate approach to resident care. Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred. Why Silver Oak?
