Requirements Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state or national regulations. Prior experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, home health services, or outpatient clinics is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, and geriatrics to support effective treatment implementation. Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical assessment documentation standards. Experience with physical therapy treatment modalities such as manual therapy and trigger point therapy.
