GED Full Job Description Duties:
- Safely provide patient care, including applying ice or heat packs, assisting with exercise equipment, monitoring patient motion, tracking walking progress, and performing prescribed exercises.
- Administer and monitor modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or traction as prescribed by the supervising PT.
- Assist with patient education, explaining exercises, home care instructions, and injury prevention techniques.
- Participate in patient progress assessments and report findings to the supervising PT.
- Maintain efficient and accurate patient documentation.
- Assist the PTs in stocking linen, cleaning supplies, office items, and disinfecting treatment equipment.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, clients, physicians, and office staff.
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for physical therapy.
- Ensure the proper functioning of physical therapy equipment through preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- ATC Certification
- Applying to Physical Therapy College
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy and sports medicine.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
