Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Joint Relief Therapy Services, your key responsibilities will include: Assisting licensed Physical Therapists in executing customized treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care. Providing hands-on therapy, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training to enhance patient recovery. Instructing patients on effective exercise methods and the appropriate use of rehabilitation equipment to improve their strength and functionality. Monitoring patient's progress closely and communicating vital updates to supervising Physical Therapists, fostering a team-based approach to patient care. Ensuring precision in documentation by maintaining electronic health records (EHR) accurately and promptly documenting therapy sessions and patient progress. Fostering a safe and comfortable environment for patients during their therapy sessions, accommodating their physical and emotional needs. Collaborating with the clinical team to achieve positive patient outcomes through shared information and multidisciplinary strategies. Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs, recovery strategies, and self-management techniques. Patient Population / Client Focus The patient population you will serve primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those experiencing various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will directly contribute to their recovery pathways, enabling them to reclaim their daily activities and improve their quality of life. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. An active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Nevada. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting is preferred, highlighting established skills in therapeutic practices. Expertise in rehabilitative exercise techniques and the ability to stay updated on clinical protocols. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
