Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. Your expertise in patient care and knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be essential in delivering effective treatment plans. Duties Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized care plans for patients. Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising therapist. Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with medical protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong understanding of care plans and their implementation in physical therapy settings. Proficiency in physical therapy techniques, particularly in orthopedics and occupational health. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Experience working with inpatient populations is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience while working with diverse patient populations. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple patient cases efficiently.
