Duties Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Load and unload merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring items are transported securely and damage-free. Engage with customers professionally, building strong relationships through clear communication and excellent service. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales performance. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, delivery receipts, and inventory records. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle type used. Familiarity with route driving, merchandising, and retail store environments is highly desirable. Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper safety protocols. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial vehicle operation is preferred. Prior experience in sales or customer service roles that involved upselling or client relationship building will be advantageous. From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
