• Responsibilities
• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve their physical health
• Document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Qualifications
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience in patient care, particularly in settings such as hospitals, clinics, or with geriatric patients
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
