Job Description
- Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients in a hospital and clinic setting. - Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve their physical health
- Document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in patient care, particularly in settings such as hospitals, clinics, or with geriatric patients
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
