Overview Physical Therapy Assistant, LTAC, in Gloversville, New York, starts on 10/12/2026 for a 12-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,152 to $1,210, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is 8-hour days, 5 days per week, typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. skilled nursing facility / SNF LTAC experience Responsibilities Implement and monitor a physical therapy treatment plan under supervision, focusing on mobility, strength, and functional activities forLTAC/SNF
patients. Assist with patient evaluations, progress documentation, and data collection as directed by the supervising PT. Instruct patients and families on prescribed exercises, transfers, gait training, posture, and activities of daily living; promote safety and independence. Assist with therapeutic modalities, ROM exercises, gait aids, transfers, and assistive devices as directed; ensure proper positioning and safety during therapy. Prepare treatment areas and equipment, maintain clean and safe environments, and follow infection control procedures. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge planning and optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Active New York license as a Physical Therapy Assistant BLS certification Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)REQUIRED
