Job Description

Oak Hill Manor is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
PTA Duties Include:
o Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. o Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist. o Implements and modifies the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision o Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance o Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary. o Observe residents and write progress reports.
PTA Requirements include:
Graduate of accredited PTA Program Current New York State PTA License Experience in long -term settings preferred
