Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN Medford Multicare | Medford, NY $35-$38/hour | PRN We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity at Medford Multicare. This role is ideal for a PTA looking for scheduling flexibility while providing hands-on rehabilitation services that help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall function. What You'll Do Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility exercises Carry out individualized treatment programs established by the supervising PT Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team Reinforce safe movement techniques and therapeutic exercises Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation Collaborate with rehabilitation staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team What We Offer $35-$38/hour Flexible PRN scheduling Supportive rehabilitation environment Short-term rehabilitation and long-term care caseload Collaborative therapy team Opportunity to expand your clinical experience Qualifications Active New York Physical Therapist Assistant license required Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply If you're a PTA seeking a flexible PRN opportunity where you can help residents improve mobility and achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals, we encourage you to apply.
