Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Technician and play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation. In this energetic position, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional care to diverse patient populations for outpatient, and post-acute settings. Your enthusiasm for patient service, combined with your knowledge of physiology and anatomy, will help facilitate effective therapy sessions and ensure patients receive compassionate, personalized attention. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions efficiently and hygienically Monitor patient progress during therapy, documenting observations accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards Maintain patient confidentiality at all times while providing attentive patient care and support Help with rehabilitation care assistance by guiding patients through exercises under supervision Ensure adherence to safety protocols including CPR certification requirements Skills Strong commitment to patient service with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse clients Practicing in a physical therapy role with experience in outpatient, or clinic settings preferred Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices Ability to lift at least 25 pounds Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality while managing sensitive health information Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams specializing in orthopedics, geriatrics, or sub-acute care This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in physiotherapy support roles.
