Overview Quantum Physical Therapy & Chiropractic Care is a growing multispecialty rehabilitation practice with locations throughout Long Island and New York City. We specialize in helping patients recover from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, slip and falls, and other musculoskeletal conditions through coordinated, patient-centered care. Our offices work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Pain Management Physicians, Orthopedic Specialists, Neurologists, Acupuncturists, and other medical professionals who provide comprehensive care to our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Assist patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching, balance training, gait training, and functional activities. Monitor patient progress and communicate any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document patient treatments using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Physicians, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care. Deliver outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable throughout their rehabilitation journey. QualificationsRequired Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and documentation abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation setting Preferred Experience in outpatient physical therapy or personal injury rehabilitation Experience treating No-Fault and Workers' Compensation patients Bilingual (Spanish is a plus) CPR/BLS Certification New graduates are encouraged to apply.
