Taneja Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment in patients' homes throughout Yonkers and nearby areas. This is a great fit for PTAs looking for supplemental income, flexible scheduling, or a small caseload close to home. New graduates are welcome. You decide whether the case fits your location and availability. Once accepted, you coordinate visit times with the patient and provide treatment under the supervising PT's established plan of care. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Carry out established plans of care Provide therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, functional training, and patient education as appropriate Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the care team Requirements Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license Graduate of an accredited PTA program Reliable transportation Comfortable providing care independently in patients' homes Strong communication and documentation skills Current CPR certification New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply.
