You're compassionate, collaborative, and skilled in guiding individuals through customized rehabilitation plans. You're flexible, empathetic, and bring a positive attitude that helps residents feel encouraged and empowered. Responsibilities As our Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high-quality therapy services to our residents. Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain, improve strength, and reduce the risk of deformity Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with functional mobility and activity improvement Observe, document, and report resident progress and treatment responses to the Physical Therapist Fit and train residents in the use and care of orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust treatment programs Support clerical functions such as inventory, supply orders, and documentation Requirements Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Ohio Outpatient experience required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred Ability to pass a pre-employment background check Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Life Enriching Communities is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and compliance with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
