Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful assignment supporting elementary-aged students as a Physical Therapist Assistant! This contract opportunity is based near Delaware, OH, and will cover a maternity leave from mid-December through mid-March (with some flexibility on start and end dates). Collaborate directly with a virtual PT to provide essential services across five elementary schools, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive experience for every student.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current or eligible state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Experience in school-based physical therapy environments Knowledge of pediatric therapy practices, especially for elementary-aged children Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working with virtual mentorship/support Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and environments across multiple buildings Excellent communication with educators, families, and therapy staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small group PT services to students, following IEP-guided goals Partner with a remote Physical Therapist for ongoing direction and support Travel between five elementary buildings as scheduled during the school day Document session progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to student reports Participate in team meetings as needed, both virtually and in person Conduct a brief onboarding week with the existing PT before and after the maternity leave for smooth transition
