We are seeking a compassionate and motivated •Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)•to join our team on a PRN basis with potential to grow into a part-time position. If you are passionate about helping active patients regain strength, mobility, balance and independence, we would love to hear from you! At VersaKinetic Therapy, we provide personalized, hands-on physical therapy care in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our team is dedicated to helping active patients achieve their functional goals through evidence-based treatment and genuine attention to each individual's needs. Duties Carry out patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, strength training and other rehabilitation techniques. Provide Class IV Laser treatments to patients Monitor and document patient progress, communicating updates to the supervising PT Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment and office environment Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care Also perform front office tasks such as scheduling patients, answering phone and emails but not limited to. Requirements Valid Ohio licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills...our patients are like family A team-oriented attitude and genuine care for patient outcomes Prior outpatient experience preferred Positive and happy attitude wanting to achieve the most for their patients Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of diverse backgrounds and collaborating effectively with healthcare coworkers. Directly impact patient recovery journeys! Willing to perform front office tasks while not performing patient care Personal Training certification would be a plus!
