Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greenfield, Ohio . As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services that inspire our guests to achieve the full and meaningful life they desire. Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for our guests Contribute to the provision of high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of settings, including rehab-recovery suites and other areas of the facility Conduct initial evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations as necessary, and document findings in accordance with established policies and procedures Develop and implement treatment plans, including exercise programs, training individuals, and educating guests and their families Collaborate with physical therapists and other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required (•); an associate's degree in physical therapy or related field preferred Minimum 0 years of experience in physical therapy or related field (•); experience working in a rehabilitation setting a plus Possess a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as necessary Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with electronic medical records and software applications a plus
