Job Description

Job Overview Result driven outpatient physical therapy clinic seeking licensed physical therapist assistant /PTA for part-time, full-time, and PRN employment. As we continue to expand our services and grow as a company, we are looking to add another dynamic therapist to our existing team. Some of the services we offer include orthopedic, pediatric, neurological rehab , vestibular rehab, geriatric /fall risk programs and Aquatic therapy. The available positions are a great fit for a therapist who has a dynamic personality, has great time-managment and communication skills, and is eager to join a fun-loving company, who's goal is to provide a patient care centered clinic and a work space that offers flexibility and learning opportunities. Duties Assist in developing and executing individualized care plans based on physician directives and therapist assessments Implement physical therapy treatments including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing and mobility Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning in accordance with clinical documentation standards and medical terminology Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses to ensure cohesive patient care Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to explain procedures, answer questions, and promote engagement in therapy programs Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately to maintain comprehensive medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Experience Prior inpatient or outpatient physical therapy experience in clinics is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology Hands-on experience with clinical assessment documentation and discharge planning processes Familiarity with medical equipment operation relevant to physical therapy interventions Strong communication skills for effective caregiver and client interaction Proven ability to follow clinical protocols for physical therapy treatment implementation while adhering to safety standards
Pay:
$26.00 - $31.00 per hour
