Job Description
Rehabilitation Technician About the Role Magruder Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dependable Rehabilitation Technician to support our rehabilitation team in delivering exceptional patient care. This hands-on role assists therapists with treatment activities, prepares treatment areas, supports patient mobility, and helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our rehab department. What You'll Do Patient Care Support Assist therapists during patient treatment sessions to support quality rehabilitation care Help patients prepare for therapy, including transfers, positioning, and changing clothing as needed Transport patients safely throughout the facility for treatments and appointments Support patient exercise activities under therapist supervision Rehabilitation Department Operations Prepare, maintain, and clean treatment areas, equipment, and supplies Perform routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance as assigned Order and restock rehabilitation supplies to maintain department readiness Assist with aquatic wellness programming and supervise self-directed wellness participants Compliance & Safety Protect confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies Follow Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory requirements Adhere to corporate compliance policies and promptly report concerns as appropriate Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment Our Culture & Values At Magruder Hospital, we are guided by integrity, ownership, compassion, and respect.
