Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and wound care management. Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately within electronic health records (EHR). Support behavioral interventions and patient education to encourage adherence to therapy routines. Manage telehealth platforms to facilitate remote patient consultations and follow-up sessions. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all treatments, including basic life support (BLS) and CPR when necessary. Communicate effectively with patients from culturally diverse communities to foster trust and understanding during therapy sessions. Experience Prior experience working with culturally diverse communities is highly desirable. Certification in basic life support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform wound care procedures and support client communication effectively.
